Especially from the family with the long lineage. I was genuinely surprised how they handled Yujiro's situation.
yeah i was expecting a rant ended with you must quit or something like that :P
Can you imagine if Cayna from Leadale were sober-minded instead of the child abusing b**** she is? XD
Yeh, Cayna annoyed me when I saw how she targeted her elf children.
His father even praised him by saying something along the lines of that this incident is just proof of their uprising popularity.
Was it really praise? sounded more like stating a fact that he took serious :S
Yeah. Sounds like an analytical adult showing him the bigger picture here. What a dad.
No kidding.....usually they've been absolute a**hats. Oh, I'm thinking of the moms in Disney....the mom in Turning Red and Ms Marvel upset me. XD
Georgia Dow on YT did very good analyses on Turning Red, Arcane, etc.
Even worse considering the Generational Trauma in Turning Red. Authoritarianism alas tends to breed more authoritarianism or rebellion. All problems are due to illogic, whether directly or indirectly.
Yeah that papa sure has massive balls! (*°∀°)=3
Surprised me but their screen time was little so I was like ok
Parents like that are rare irl too.
The dad said something really similar to what my dad used to say "If you're not actually guilty then don't fear anyone and fight for yourself". And Yuujirou's father asked him about if he's guilty.
The victim must apologize - typical modern world bu***hit
"we're sorry you blew this non-traversy out of proportion and made our lives more difficult for a few days." >.>
A sad reality
The way idols are treated in Japan and SK is so weird, but it's not new. It originally came from Japan almost 20 years ago then Kpop basically globalized the idea that idols are your "boyfriends/girlfriends."
The Yakuza have a significant role in the music industry and Japan has this obsession with young idols that must "graduate" when they get too old.
Japan has always been hyperpolite & hypercohesive.
+ this shallow optics crap always existed, it's just that the motivational tendencies for it shifted over time.
Pfff apologize just won’t do…
Woww wasn’t expecting Yuujirou father to look so cool, the way he just looks gives off this menacing/bad*ss vibe and to top it all of he’s quite the handsome man lol
Successful family is a successful family!?!?! Who would have thought. haha I get the point though, he was totally set up to be that stereotypical overcontrolling type~
Local Idol begged to their fans to let them have a normal life just for once after almost considering quitting high school. Fanbase are not sorry, but are more than happy to continue supporting their favorite artist.
preview spoilers:
Also, FT4 × LIP×LIP new song called "New Era" will be released at July 29!! I listened to the song preview and OH BOY IT'S ONE OF THE BEST SONGS I'VE EVER HEARD!! Make sure to look forward to it!
I love all the different EDs
Quit trainee manager
Join demons' army
It's funny how Mona assumed the scandal was Yuujirou and Aizou dating each other, that shouldn't be the first thought that comes to her mind lol.
It's unfortunate Hiyori really quit this time especially since she didn't want to but I guess it's for the best that they don't spend so much time together after this event. I wonder if we'll ever find out who really spread those photos.
I mean....It's not that far-fetched XD
Yeah, sorry Hiyori, that's a HORRIBLE idea to not call out your fans. I get where you're coming, but there's a point where you need to put your foot down.
Otherwise you're just welcoming fans that it's OK to harass you guys, and it'll get to a point where fans would be willing to jump onstage while LIPXLIP is performing. It'll be Adam Levine all over again, and I'm pretty sure you don't want Someya and Shibasaki to get hurt.
I’m just surprised she didn’t receive any death treats yk, Usually people go out of there way to do that smh…
Glad she didn’t though!
Kinda pisses me off that the girl who did that is just causally enjoying what she did to Hiyori and walking around school acting like she didn’t do nothing with a bright a** smile pfff
And I don't like how the culprit just gets to walk off, they don't even address that. I DO hope they get revealed next episode though.
Otherwise, that just invites her to just continue to harass the three of them.
Oh don't worry :) She'll get caught :)
Someone has been quite suspicious the last few episodes.
I think that might've happened if her ID was known. That'd be the next step in harrassment I guess,
You must be new to idol culture. The fans are toxic. People are only now opening their eyes to it cause of kpop stans on Twitter, but Japanese idol culture is where the idea that idols are your bfs/gfs comes from. I don't know about now, but a few years back Japan has an obsession with young idols, at least SK employs adults. You used to see Japanese men in their 30s and 40s simping over underage idols. I wouldn't be surprised if LipxLip has some 40 year old female stans.
Idol culture isn't surprising considering how prudish Japan is but overcoddling fans & demanding idols be celibate is still stup!d.
"True dat!"
- Ren Yamai ("Komi-san")
Pretty sure she's just gonna get back the job in the next ep or something lol
also it kinda bothers me that the company wont step out and announce she's the manager and was tasked to look after them at school.
like bruh she just doin her job man
saying she is the assistant manager would have been best
I expected Yujiro's parents to cause some ruckus, but I'm glad that they took everything well and with an intelligent approach.
I also liked his brother's approach.
Hiyori's approach is quite stupid imho. Why shouldn't the boys be angry at a "fan" who meddles in their private life? That behavior is not a behavior of a fan, but of someone who is just obsessed. Seriously - those two are normal human beings, like anyone else, so they are bound to have their private life. Really - these types of so called "fans" are the worst. They are just scum. And when that stalker is found out, they should be held responsible.
The worst thing is, that this kind of scenario is not something from a fantasy - it's something that can easily happen in real life.
I liked how the boys handled the situation in the end, tho. It was handled in a diplomatic way. Tho I must say, that they should've said that taking random photos of them and their private life is just not acceptable. Well, life of an idol is a tough one.
His entire family been in the entertainment industry for generations so they probably are used to it and probably happened before
Hiyori is the typical overused cliched submissive naif MC & this cliched fiasco was so contrived in how it played out.
We have Mona x Seina sing ending theme this episode. I really wish they will adapt their (and their parents) story into anime someday.
Yes, please.
Allright that's cleared up.
Let's date each other for real now!
This is the first time in anime where a widely know and rice family isn't full of scum
Best friends don't always have/need each other's numbers they got other ways to get in contact with each other 🤣
THISSSS LOL, we just meet at lunch time and on the bus
Sober-minded parent in anime, that's rare
